ioTank is an IoT-based smart tank monitoring and remote control system that uses an ultrasonic sensor to measure the exact distance between the top of any storage tank and the surface of the stored material — converting that measurement into an accurate fill-level percentage in real time.

Unlike traditional float-based gauges or manual dip-stick methods, ioTank requires no physical contact with the liquid, making it safe for water, oil, chemicals, fuels, grains, and virtually any pourable material. The data streams live to a Firebase cloud database and is instantly viewable on this PWA — from anywhere in the world.

Every day, people and industries face a silent, costly problem: they don't know what's in their tanks until it's too late. Families run out of water. Factories halt production because a chemical tank ran dry. Diesel generators shut down because the fuel tank wasn't topped up. Farmers over-irrigate because they had no level data.

Current solutions either require manual inspection (time-consuming, inaccurate, sometimes dangerous) or industrial-grade sensors that cost ₹15,000–₹50,000 per unit — completely out of reach for small businesses, farms, and households.
